Awaken the Beauty Within with Fi Haviland
Her mission is to empower women with confidence through image consulting and make up artistry - to help us make the most of the natural beauty we have. What inspires me about this young woman is more than just her ability to make me look and feel more glamorous than I know I am. At the age of 29 she can say that she has been brave enough to take the leap of faith and travel internationally to master her craft. She has spent more than a decade studying the fine form of femininity, teaching and learning how to enhance a woman’s natural beauty.
She also worked for US cosmetic company Paula Dorf training all their staff in London, Scotland and Sweden, while organising events and fashion shows. Back in Sydney she represented makeup company Laura Mercier as their national makeup artist – travelling around Australia training staff and hosting seminars and events.
Today Fi focuses on women in the corporate sector - women as mothers, wives, partners, managers, business women, and all of us who spend so much of our time focussing on others and so little thinking about ourselves. Fi encourages women like me to stop and take stock of our health, our skin, our beauty regime, our sense of style and the image we portray. Through individual training sessions and group workshops, Fi helps us to focus on our own sense of self and how we would like to present ourselves. I believe that there is beauty in all of us. But sometimes it takes someone like Fi to very gently nudge out the goddess waiting in the mirror. From a business perspective, the lesson I’ve earned is that unless you are brave enough to take the plunge and follow your dreams, even if they lead you into unchartered territory, you may never fulfill your true calling. So dare to be different. Be remarkable. Be brave. |
